Extra curricular activities
Karuna Club, Abacus, Karate, Animation and Yoga classes are conducted regularly through out the year. We have an excellent group of Band students trained by an Ex- police officer. To understand and appreciate our culture and its diversity, we have music and dance classes. Our children have participated and won laurels in many programs.
Karuna Club
The karuna club from the beginning of its inception has striven to inculcate the eternal values of compassion and charity in children.
Karuna International has awarded us a certificate of appreciation along with a gift cheque of appreciation along with a gift cheque of Rs.1000/- to our karuna club in recognition of introduction non-teacher belts and shoes of our school uniform.
Music and Dance
There can be no better way to express the inner most feelings of man than through various art form – Music, Dance, Drawing Painting – to name a few.
Music and Dance the most popular and widely practiced art forms can stir the very soul and can be powerful media to work for moral upliftment and spiritual development.
Road safety
The biggest challenge that man is facing today is his safety on road. ‘Road Safety Week’ was observed to create awareness among the public on traffic rules and discipline. Thirty five students of our school along with our PT master Mr. Shanmugamnadan attended a Programme conducted by the Traffic Police Commissioner at his office.
Our students do an excellent job by allowing a smooth follow of vehicles in the school road and help the small children to walk freely. Their enthusiasm and interest was widely appreciated by the parents and public.
Rotary Interact Club
The motto of our interact club is service to the underprivileged, needy and destitute, and destitute and also to help senior citizen in old age homes. As part of the Rotary club’s service, our students put up an entertainment program for the poor orphan children at Sevachakra ashram. They also celebrated Deepavali along with them by distribution sweets and bursting crackers.
Yoga
Yoga as a discipline of the mind and the body is actively practiced at our school. It is combination of physical movement and mental improvement that helps students combat stress and develop concentration. Yoga helps students to achieve physical fitness and mental power in the from of a healthy body and balanced mind
